This client are seeking an exceptional Sales Manager/Director with solid experience in running a very focused online sales team. The brief is to work with the VP of Advertising in planning and executing a sales strategy to take a new online marketing product to the decision makers at the Agencies and ultimately acquire budgets. In the early days, the individual will be required to work with the agencies directly and also get involved with the recruitment of a sales team. The individual will relish working for a start-up. You will be self motivated and comfortable with making business decisions affecting revenues and people at a variety of levels. The individual must have good contacts at all the major agencies. Main Purpose of Job: To lead a sales campaign that takes a new digital product to market. Principal Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Operational management/responsibility for team members; people-management, recruitment, motivation, training and development staffing responsibilities 2. Creation of targets with ongoing monitoring and measurement of performance 3. Formulation and execution of sales strategy at team level and assisting in the creation of micro sales plans with team individuals 4. Create an environment of business professionalism to ensure good practices are adhered to including; Administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison. 5. Ability to manage own customer base with maximum return 6. To deal with complaints/queries promptly, efficiently, courteously and seek assistance from Sales director when necessary. 7. Arrange and co-ordinate weekly sales meetings with team 8. Ensuring compliance of team members with company pricing, policy and procedures. 9. Maintain a thorough understanding of AdJug - its position within its market and its strengths and weaknesses and share this with your team 10. Monitor and canvas potential advertisers with sales team from competitive media and from leads supplied.
